My name is Keith T. and I am 38 years old and I am just getting into bow hunting for the first time and I have started my 10 year old son in archery lessons. We love to watch your show together and see you and your son have such a great time together in the woods. I have a Martin Scepter 2 that a buddy of mine that is an amatuer archer for Martin gave me and I am practicing alot!
My father in law is a farmer in south central IL and has a little spot of about 55 acers with alot of deer activity. Well keep up the good work and God bless all you do!
Just caught the last minutes of your south Texas javelina hunt. Your guide is mistaken when he said this animal is related to rodents. The peccary belongs to the Order Artiodactyla, not the Order Rodentia. It is an even toed (hooved) ungulate.
I enjoy your enthusiasm I'll never tire from hunting myself!
Great Show! I seldom get to watch TV and when I do there will be an interruption of some sorts. I was watching your show yesterday and one of the advertisements was on a Cell Phone game camera and my wife called me as I was writing down the information, so I lost my train of thought and could not remember who the maker of the camera system was. Could you help me out?
Thank you, Billy M. Mount Pleasant, Texas

Keith,
I just watched the 2nd episode of your second season with your first ever combo Ross bow and TC encore shotgun kill. You mentioned that the shot on the turkey was something crazy like 55 yards. I just recently added to turkey barrel to my own TC prohunter and was wondering what kind of choke you were using on the shotgun. Was it the stock tc turkey choke that comes with it or was it an aftermarket?
I watch your show every week i heard you talking about buck warning i live in north part of georgia where can i find this product in my area thank you very much for your show i will keep watching your show .
I just wanted to say hi, and thank you for taking the time to talk to me on the phone the other day. It was cool. I'm looking forward to seeing the episode where you bow kill your Javelina. I also took my first one this year with my bow. It was my first ever bow kill. I bought the bow a week before my hunt from a dealer here in Tucson. It was cool.
Also just a thought for your online store, would you ever sell Scent Stalker? I'm still looking for that kit and have been unable to find one.
I love the campfire (sponsored by Thompson Center) segments of your show. Cant wait to see the second part of the Buckwarning campfire. I also would love to see an episode on mountain lion hunting, I saw your Christmas special and know you had about 5 min or so on it, but love to see it more in depth.
Keith Mark, I just seen on the Outdoor Channel where your son Zach got his first black bear , first of all , congratulations to Zach! I am 52 yrs. old and just went on my first bear hunt in Maine. I shot a 175 lb. black bear . I know first hand how exciting it is to get a first bear. And how pround you must be of your son Zach.
I also know what you mean about how much bigger they look while their on the bait. I swore my bear was much bigger in weight . Thank you for your show
Macmillan River Adventures. I watch it every chance I get ! Keep up the great work.. thank you for your time reading this!
hey keith, greg tvedt here , watched the show tonight, tell your son congratulations for me. great bear . more important than the bear he took is the bond you two have that i think is great.
you seem to be all about your family , which to me i admire more than any animal that could be taken. unfortunately growing up near nyc , all my life i had never hunted, nor my father thought of taking me. but i am not bitter i love my father. it took moving away from new york city when i got married till i started hunting myself, and i try to use your show and many others to try and teach me on how to hunt.
now 31 years of age, hopefully i will be able to use any bit of knowledge i gain from watching , to help my children when they come of age and ask to go. my daughter kailey is four and cannot wait till she is old enough. but anyway keep up the great work please feel free to keep in touch . maybe someday i will be able to book a hunt with you .
I watched your show with great enthusiasm, in the use of the scent stalker kit only to be discouraged, in finding i cannot order it anywhere , the web site you sponsor has no phone # nor any option to order product upon arrival , if you have such info where i may obtain or i'll buy directly through you . please let me know .
Mr. Mark, I sent you an email last year about Buck warning and you responded that it would be on sale around the beginning of the year. I have waited and still can not find it for sale at outlets or on the web. I do want to try it, so would you please give me any info on it you can ?
Greetings Roland! I hope you had a very special Easter with your family. You can actually buy Buck Warning on our web site for a limited time until they get their on site up and running. You should be able to buy it a Cabala’s, Dick’s, and other fine retailers in the very near future. Our web site is: www.mrahunting.com. I hope you are still watching and enjoying the show. Keith
Keith, I actually watched and enjoyed your show the other day. That's what reminded me, again, about the product. I would like to thank you again for being so prompt with a reply. Believe me when I say I am looking forward to trying it. I've tried so many products in the past and I have to tell you that I have been disappointed with the results most of the time. The ones I do like I stick with religously. Thanks again......Roland
Keith--The Charlton Heston Tribute was awesome! He was a great man and will always be remembered for the freedoms he fought for and won for the rest of us. I'm glad to see you take the time to homor such a giant.
This was a great and inspiring show. I would like to share it with my friends and family. Will it be broadcast again and, if so, when? Or can a copy of it be ordered?
My name is Kerry Preston, I just spoke to you about your piece on television. This is right to the point and we all need to remember why we have these rights.
I am writing at your request for a copy of the disc. It will be shared with everyone in my life.
From one good American to another, THANK YOU! Kerry P.
Of all the outdoors shows I've watched thru the years, this has got to be the most moving and wonderful pieces ever put together. I am an active member of the NRA, and am proud to have had such a great man as our president. I hope you will show the episode over & over, so every person who wishes to keep & bear arms will see it, and be as inspired as I. THANKS FOR A GREAT SHOW,
Great show on President Heston. He was truly a remarkable man. I meet him a few years ago and he never forgot my name.
Keith, I was wondering if you made available for purchase your decals. I would love to get a few and put on my truck, camper and other stuff. Again thanks for your wonderful shows. I love your Alaska stuff. I have hunted there several times and always have a wonderful adventure.
Hey stranger, Great looking blog ya got goin :) Wanted to let ya know I stopped and said Hi to the S & K Gunstock people at NRA Meetings, and man, do they love you! Keep on keepin on brother! Joe
I watched your show, i'm not impressed, shooting a tree'd animal is the most pathetic hunting i've ever seen, and bragging about how hard it was to shoot through the branches to shoot a cornered animal, your a bit pathetic also, i'll bet you shoot alot of caged animals also. i'll give you credit for having a hunting show, but i'm not teaching my kids how to send a pack of dogs to tree an animal like you do.
Greetings Jeff! I appreciate you watching the show and taking the time to post your comments. However, I wanted to provide you with some information that might have an impact on your current opinions. Whether we like it or not, man is the steward of all wildlife and wild places. In some instances we have failed miserably and other times we have succeeded like champions. In most instances, when hunting is used as a management tool, the results are very positive. Remember the 7th grade biology lession about "habitat and carrying capacity"? Well I do, and at the Mark home we take our job as conservationists very seriously. The lession is that only a certain number of animals can live in a healthy state in a finite amount of space. This principal is true when it comes to mountain lions. As predators, they eat other animals in order to survive. If we mismanage the lions, other animal populations, like deer and elk, suffer as well. If there are too many lions in a set area, that will result in too few deer and elk. Then the lions will turn to domesticated animals, and there will be an increase in lion and human encounters, which is never good. Ultimately, there will be too few lions due to starvation. There is no better example of the good and the ugly aspects of man's attempts at managing wild life than how we have dealt with mountain lions. To see the ugly look at California where they have banned lion hunting completely. There has been a decrease in other wildlife due to lion predation, tons of lion and domesticated animal incidents, and a huge increase in human and lion encounters. Then you can see the good when you look at other western states, like Utah where my hunt occured, and you will find management done at its best. After careful studies the fish and game department decides how many lions can live in a healthy state in a given area or unit. Then a detailed count is done of the lion population in that area. Tag limits are then set for that area. Hunting is allowed until the exact quota is reached. It's perfect! Just the right amount of lions means a healthy deer and elk herd. Now I am not sure were you are from or if you have ever tried to hunt mountain lions, but I can tell you from personal experience and from talking to many western residents, that it is virtually impossible to hunt lions with out dogs. It would be impossible to kill enough of them without dogs to meet the quotas established by the wildlife surveys. I have spent many hours in the field out west and have never seen a mountain lion unless he was treed with the help of dogs. Spotting and stalking lions is not a viable conservation tool to control lion populations. Remember the "habitat and carrying capacity" lession? That type of hunting may not be for you, but be glad that some hunters do it so we can have a healthy lion population and a healthy deer and elk population. What upsets you about the shot? It was about 20 yards and required a perfect arrow between limbs. It is no different than hunting a food plot that you know a white tail buck feeds at within 20 yards from my tree. I am still shooting at 20 yards through limbs, with the only difference being that I am in the tree on one and the game is in the tree on the other. Isn't the idea to get game with in an ethical shooting distance? Is your problem with the use of dogs? Are you against having a dog point a pheasant, quail or grouse so I can make a clean shot? What about the lab that retrieves my ducks? Is it that we are moving the animal into a position where we can make a clean shot? What about the deer drives that my Iowa farmer buddies do each year to put meat in their freezer. It is not dogs pushing the deer but people. I have been a part of drives like that myself and from experience the dogs may actually enjoy the hunt as much as their human counterparts. My last thought is that I think that you should think twice before tearing down any other form of legal and ethical hunting, that is if you are a hunter yourself. The anti's goal is to ban ALL forms of hunting. Their stated mission is to go from state to state, species by species, and mode by mode of hunting at a time until they reach their goal. Any time we as hunters speak out against any form of hunting, baiting vs. spot and stalk, gun vs. bow, high fence vs. free range, hunting behind dogs or not, or trapping, to name some of the stones that fly in the hunting world, the anti's win without firing a shot. We do more damage to this honorable sport of hunting when we fight amongst our selves than the anti's could ever do to us themselves. I hope that you are a hunter and will realize that this is a big, great and FREE country where people from different places can hunt and enjoy God's great outdoors in many different ways. Even if lion hunting or hunting behind dogs may not be for you, be glad that other hunters take their conservationist duty seriously enough to do it so that we can maintain a healthy population of lions. I want my kids not just to read about lions in a book but to see them and hunt them if they want to. Happy Hunting! Keith
I saw one of the best shows I have ever seen. The show was on 7/11/2008 @ 01:00. It had snipits of Charleton Heston as your speaker for the whole half hour. it must have been a tribute to him. I have never been so proud watching a show like I did this one. Who ever put the show together, Give them a raise. We lost a great Man and we lose great men each day on our fight for freedom around the world. Wow what a show, had me in tears at the end. Thanks Retired U.S.N 20 years 1976-1996. I'll end this as Mr. Heston did "FROM MY COLD DEAD HANDS".
I just finished watching the show on Charlton Heston. I just have to say that it was the finest piece for the NRA and as a testimonial for Mr. Heston I have ever seen or heard. As an actor he was without peer, and as an American Patriot he was a rare jewel. His passing ileaves a void in a spokeperson for all Americans who cherish, love, and revere our country, and the truly unique and all encomsaiing document we call the Declaration of Independence. Is it possible to purchase a copy of this program?
hey keith been a while since ive contacted you, fortunately i have located the scent stalker kit through cabelas, cant wait to use it. thank you and keep up the great work
Keith, I caught your show this weekend on Charleton Heston and want to know how I can get copy. It was one of the best shows I have ever seen on the Outdoor Channel. Rick
Keith, great response to Jeff's comments about the lion hunt. I saw the show and had no problem with the way you harvested the animal. I have watched several of your hunts and feel you have incredible ethics when it comes to hunting in general. I also appreciate you and your family sharing the experience that most of us will never have the oppertunity to do. Keep up the good work and look forward to more shows.
I just want to let you know that your show is one of the many that I watch and if I'm out hunting during I make sure to tape it for late viewing. I was in the market last year for a new bow and I have to be honest I was expecting to buy a Mattews, but I was wrong when I grabbed that Ross cardiac I knew I was getting one. It just felt perfect holding it and then when I took my first shot in the store I was even more impressed. There is little to no vibration at all, and it is the smoothest bow out there. I told many of my fellow bow hunters about it and they all agree. Thank you Keith Mark for having one heck of a hunting show that I look forward to watch all the time and Thank you Ross archery for making the best bow out there. On 10-9-08 at my cabin I shot a 8 point buck that had a 18" inside spread with the bow. Thats another for the wall and I can't wait to get it back from the taxidermist. Any way keep up the good work. Thank you, Ben Creske
Hey Keith Mark---This is Lynn Nutt retired B.A. from UFCW. Just wanted to let you know I LOVE YOUR SHOW and tape every episode on the Outdoor Channel. As a matter of fact, I had to call Directv to add it to my channel list. I love the fact you include your family in the show and love the campfire series. Hope to see you at the annual X-mas party to talk more. Keep the episodes coming for everyones enjoyment. Looking forward to seeing you Lynn
Keith, that Moose you harvested on your son's birthday is humongous to say the least. What is the rule on what you have to colloect and what to legally leave behind. All I can say is thats a lot meat to handle. Have you tried doing Venison jerky? I sure would like to taste it someday. Of course we don't have Moose here in Hawaii but have Black Tail and Axis Deer that we hunt at seasons.
Your show and everyone else's shows are worth watching on the Outdoor Channel. Keep it up!
HI KEITH, I STRONGLY AGREE,WE AS HUNTERS NO MATTER HOW YOU HUNT SHOULD STAND TOGETHER NOT THROW ROCKS AT EACH OTHER,THE ANTI,S WIN AND THEY DON,T HAVE TO DO A THING. IT WOULD BE GREST TO GO ON AMOOASE HUNT LIKE THE ONE YOU WENT ON TODAY.THE PROBLEM IS,THE AVERAGE GUY CAN,T AFFORD A $12,00.00 HUNT. HOW ABOUT SHOWING A MOOSE HUNT THAT THE REGULAR HUNTER CAN AFFORD SAY $4000.00/6000.00.I DON,T THINK YOU CAN. BOB HOVERKAMP
Greetings Bob! Thanks for the nice comment. I know that some of the hunts we show are not for everyone. Some folks can't afford the hunt, some may be too old to go on such hunts and some of our viewers may be disabled and simply can't handlle the physical requirements of the hunt. Ether way, we show the hunts for the excitement and entertainment that they bring. So, I would hope that we make the big game hunts, like the moose hunts, entertaining enough that those that will never go on such a hunt, for what ever reason, will feel like they have! Merry Christmas! KM
Love the show...just watched the one with you and Uncle Ted. I live in an Kansas City and write music. I attached a demo I did for a friend of mine in southern MO. He trains SWAT Teams and wanted me to write a song for his business. If you're ever interested in a personalized song, let me know. Hope you like the demo...the intro is a clip of Heston at his last NRA convention.
Keith, Great show!! I just got done watching this weeks episode with you hunting in New Zealand and I missed the website for the outfitter you went out of? Can you give me their website? Thanks
Also, do you offer any drop camp hunts for moose through your outfitting service? Thanks
Keith, I have recently watch your last two episodes, I may be one of the few women out that have a greater passion about hunting than shopping.
I watch the Outdoor Channel all the time and I love the show, and your passion to for the sport, Having Uncle Ted on was a bonus for me I just love Him!!
Looking forward to meeting you in the future, I was also interested in what Bow you are using this fall ?
It is great to hear from a passionate woman hunter. I am god that you are enjoying the show. I am shooting a ROSS bow that is made by BowTech. It is fast and quite. Try it, you will love it. Good luck and keep watching. KM
hi keith i just wanted to tell you that i really enjoy your show because you hunt a lott of different animals living in utah i have hunted elk mule deer antelope and bear. when you hunt moose it really gets my blood pumping we have a lot of moose but its so hard to draw a permit. so keep up the cool hunts
Keith, My name is Alan Franzoy and I am from Las Cruces, New Mexico. I have been a Deputy Sheriff in Dona Ana County for almost ten years serving in many varied assignments. I am also a Special Deputy U. S. Marshal serving on the Southwest Investigative Fugitive Taskforce. I have been a DARE Officer for about eight years, and I am a Hunter Education Instructor for New Mexico Game and Fish. I was also a shooting instructor for my kids 4-H Shooting Team for several years.
I am writing to you because I just saw your show on your tribute to Charlton Heston. I wanted to tell you that I was deeply touched and inspired during this presentation, and I deeply believe that I need to become more involved in teaching young people about their Second Amendment Constitutional Rights. I am not sure of a course of action, but I just finished watching the show five minutes ago and have not had time to think about it and plan. I just became a Life Member of the NRA several months ago.
I am not sure if there are programs you or your company are involved in working with young people but I would love the opportunity to talk with you about it.
If this doesn't really apply to you or your company's mission, feel free to disregard that part. But I wanted to thank you for airing this show and letting you know that it was a wonderful inspiration to me, and I will be putting that into action as soon as I can come up with a plan. Thank you for giving me more insight to the life of a wonderful patriot and hero of America.
Keith, I just wanted to thank you for airing that show on Charlton Heston and all his great work. That show motivated me to do something I have been putting off for longer than I should have. What is it you ask? Joining the NRA. I am 28 years old and ever since I moved from my parents home I have been planning on joining the NRA. After eight years I finally joined thanks to that show and listening to Charlton Heston speak. You gave a great man one last voice. Hopefully it was heard by others and motivated them to join as well.
Times are hard a way to save a few dollars on sent control. Take a old pillow case ,add some pine and cider branches tie off and place in dryer with your hunting clothes this will add a great sent to your hunting clothes with out any cost to you, it works, have a great hunt.
Luke AFB is west of Phoenix and is rapidly being surrounded by civilization that complains about the noise from the base and its planes, forgetting that it was there long before they were. A certain lieutenant colonel at Luke AFB deserves a big pat on the back. Apparently, an individual who lives somewhere near Luke AFB wrote the local paper complaining about a group of F-16s that disturbed his/her day at the mall.
When that individual read the response from a Luke AFB officer, it must have stung quite a bit.
The complaint: “Question of the day for Luke Air Force Base:
Whom do we thank for the morning air show? Last Wednesday, at precisely 9:11 AM, a tight formation of four F-16 jets made a low pass over Arrowhead Mall, continuing west over Bell Road at approximately 500 feet. Imagine our good fortune! Do the Tom Cruise-wannabes feel we need this wake-up call, or were they trying to impress the cashiers at Mervyns early bird special?
Any response would be appreciated.”
The response:
Regarding 'A wake-up call from Luke's jets' On June 15, at precisely 9:12 a.m., a perfectly timed four- ship flyby of F-16s from the 63rd Fighter Squadron at Luke Air Force Base flew over the grave of Capt. Jeremy Fresques. Capt Fresques was an Air Force officer who was previously stationed at Luke Air Force Base and was killed in Iraq on May 30, Memorial Day.
At 9 a. m. on June 15, his family and friends gathered at Sunland Memorial Park in Sun City to mourn the loss of a husband, son and friend. Based on the letter writer's recount of the fly by, and because of the jet noise, I'm sure you didn't hear the 21-gun salute, the playing of taps, or my words to the widow and parents of Capt. Fresques as I gave them their son's flag on behalf of the President of the United States and all those veterans and servicemen and women who understand the sacrifices they have endured..
A four-ship fly by is a display of respect the Air Force gives to those who give their lives in defense of freedom. We are professional aviators and take our jobs seriously, and on June 15 what the letter writer witnessed was four officers lining up to pay their ultimate respects.
The letter writer asks, 'Whom do we thank for the morning air show? The 56th Fighter Wing will make the call for you, and forward your thanks to the widow and parents of Capt Fresques, and thank them for you, for it was in their honor that my pilots flew the most honorable formation of their lives.
Only 2 defining forces have ever offered to die for you....Jesus Christ and the American Soldier. One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

Keith That video on Ted Nugents "Spirit of the Wild" Show of you shooting your moose in the Yukon was absolutely FAB. To say it was a totally plan and executed shot is just a bit beyond belief. Still it does show what can be done if you try hard enough. I will never see that video to often. Thanks so much for the memories.
I watched Ted Nugents show tonight where you had arrowed the bull moose a few yards away. Unreal would'nt be enough to cover that.. Awesome and thankfully got it on film for the rest of us to see.
The Best thing about it is, their show! This makes it possible for all of disabled to enjoy. Keith, you and Ted keep filming and we'll keep watching and voting for your return. We will keep you in our Prayers. Be safe and god Bless. Redgey.

quotas established by the wildlife surveys. I have spent many hours in the field out west and have never seen a mountain lion unless he was treed with the help of dogs.
Spotting and stalking lions is not a viable conservation tool to control lion populations. Remember the "habitat and carrying capacity" lession? That type of hunting may
not be for you, but be glad that some hunters do it so we can have a healthy lion population and a healthy deer and elk population. What upsets you about the shot? It was
about 20 yards and required a perfect arrow between limbs. It is no different than hunting a food plot that you know a white tail buck feeds at within 20 yards from my
tree. I am still shooting at 20 yards through limbs, with the only difference being that I am in the tree on one and the game is in the tree on the other. Isn't the idea
to get game with in an ethical shooting distance? Is your problem with the use of dogs? Are you against having a dog point a pheasant, quail or grouse so I can make a
clean shot? What about the lab that retrieves my ducks? Is it that we are moving the animal into a position where we can make a clean shot? What about the deer drives
that my Iowa farmer buddies do each year to put meat in their freezer. It is not dogs pushing the deer but people. I have been a part of drives like that myself and from
experience the dogs may actually enjoy the hunt as much as their human counterparts. My last thought is that I think that you should think twice before tearing down
any other form of legal and ethical hunting, that is if you are a hunter yourself. The anti's goal is to ban ALL forms of hunting. Their stated mission is to go from state
to state, species by species, and mode by mode of hunting at a time until they reach their goal. Any time we as hunters speak out against any form of hunting, baiting vs. spot and
stalk, gun vs. bow, high fence vs. free range, hunting behind dogs or not, or trapping, to name some of the stones that fly in the hunting world, the anti's win without
firing a shot. We do more damage to this honorable sport of hunting when we fight amongst our selves than the anti's could ever do to us themselves. I hope that you
are a hunter and will realize that this is a big, great and FREE country where people from different places can hunt and enjoy God's great outdoors in many different
ways. Even if lion hunting or hunting behind dogs may not be for you, be glad that other hunters take their conservationist duty seriously enough to do it so that we can
maintain a healthy population of lions. I want my kids not just to read about lions in a book but to see them and hunt them if they want to. Happy Hunting! Keith
@ 01:00. It had snipits of Charleton Heston as your speaker for the whole
half hour. it must have been a tribute to him. I have never been so proud
watching a show like I did this one. Who ever put the show together,
Give them a raise. We lost a great Man and we lose great men each day on
our fight for freedom around the world. Wow what a show, had me in tears at
the end. Thanks Retired U.S.N 20 years 1976-1996.
I'll end this as Mr. Heston did "FROM MY COLD DEAD HANDS".
American Patriot he was a rare jewel. His passing ileaves a void in a spokeperson for all Americans who cherish, love, and revere our country, and the truly unique and all encomsaiing document we call the Declaration of
Independence.
Is it possible to purchase a copy of this program?
I caught your show this weekend on Charleton Heston and want to know how I can get copy. It was one of the best shows I have ever seen on the Outdoor Channel.
Rick
comes to hunting in general. I also appreciate you and your family sharing the experience that most of us will never have the oppertunity to do. Keep up the good work and look forward to more
shows.
Your show and everyone else's shows are worth watching on the Outdoor Channel. Keep it up!
I STRONGLY AGREE,WE AS HUNTERS NO MATTER HOW YOU HUNT SHOULD STAND TOGETHER
NOT THROW ROCKS AT EACH OTHER,THE ANTI,S WIN AND THEY DON,T HAVE TO DO A THING.
I live in an Kansas City and write music. I attached a demo I did
for a friend of mine in southern MO. He trains SWAT Teams and wanted
me to write a song for his business. If you're ever interested in a personalized
song, let me know. Hope you like the demo...the intro is a clip of Heston at his
last NRA convention.

Also, do you offer any drop camp hunts for moose through your outfitting service? Thanks

My name is Alan Franzoy and I am from Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Respectfully,
Alan Franzoy
I just wanted to thank you for airing that show on Charlton Heston and all his great work.
Thank You,
Vince Cunningham
this will add a great sent to your hunting clothes with out any cost to you, it works, have a great hunt.
The complaint:
“Question of the day for Luke Air Force Base:
