Happy Fall

Greetings to all!  Isn't this the greatest time of the year?  It is the natural season of the harvest and it is HUNTING SEASON!  This is the time of year when, with our family and friends, we head to the woods, fields and marshes to celebrate the wonderful gifts of renewable resources that God has given us.  I for one try to take advantage of this hands on conservation as often as possible.  I hope you do as well.  This season is also special for some other reasons too.  Thanksgiving is just around the corner.  However, if you are like me, you give thanks every day for all of the blessings that you have in your lives.  For me, I am so thankful that I have such a wonderful family and loyal close friends to share all that is good with me in this world.  I am thankful for the gifts of faith and wisdom as they are the cornerstones of how I try and live my life. 

It is from those cornerstones that I will make my decision on the other important event that will occur this season: the presidential election.  Far be it for me to tell you, my friends how to cast your precious vote, but I would like to tell you the things that I have considered in deciding who I will vote for.  And make no mistake about it, i have decided.  I want a president who I know will promote and defend my Americian freedoms.  I want a president who will defend the Constitution, and yes that does include the Second Ammendment!  I want a president who will be an instrument for world peace but will never hesitate to use our American mite if freedom is at stake.  I want a president who will promote family values.  I want a president who will excercise good judgment  and have good moral character.  One good way to asses that is to see who they associate with and what they have done in the past.  I want a president that I, as an American, can be proud of.  I realize that our true American freedoms can be lost in the blink of an eye if the wrong people are elected. There is only one candidate in the election that can stand up to what I am looking for in a president! 

I hope that each and everyone of  you have a blessed, safe and happy fall.  Hunt often, spend as much time as you can in the company of your family and friends, and vote.   Godspeed!  Keith
