I want to wish everyone a very happy Thanksgiving! I hope that everyone is having a great hunting season and sharing it with their family and friends. One of the things we try to do here at the Mark family this time of year is to get together with the special purpose of identifying some people, family or families that we know that may be in need of some special help this hoiday season. It might be someone who has lost their job or a family that has lost a loved one. I am sure that you all know folks like that in your world, too.
What we try to do, and I would suggest that you all try and do it too, is to adopt these less fortunate folks this season. It can be very simple and it does not have to be costly. Here are some really simple suggestions: Have them to your home for a family meal, take baked goodies to someone, invite a youngster, or oldster, to share some time in the woods with you, take your family and visit an old folks home, donate gifts or money to your church or a charity of your choice, and attend church as a family and say thanks for all of the blessings that you have.
I know that as far as the Mark family is concerned, we could never say thank you enough for all of God's Blessings that we have received. One of the biggest blessings to come our way this year is to be able to share these thoughts and all of the MacMillan River Adventures with all of you!
Thanks to all of you, too. Godspeed! Keith
We hope you had a great Turkey day with the family.
As you had requested, from the show tonight we have sent a message to mossy oak & TC.
We love the show.
This year we have gotten a great big turkey for dinner as the normal for this family, it is now a tradition with this family to have a wild Turkey for thanksgiving dinner.
I have started this an now the whole family is in to it.
I cant wait til our son gets his hunter safety license because he is my #1 turkey caller.
anyways
Happy Turkey day
